Bio

As a longtime copywriter and travel blogger, originally from the east coast of South Africa, I have always been immersed in the world of words. Having already published a few short stories, I aspire to become a novelist in the near future. For the past decade or so, I have been traversing the globe, gathering unforgettable experiences. Some of my most cherished memories are sailing across the Atlantic Ocean, surfing in Sri Lanka, working at a circus-themed bar in Greece, and curating art exhibitions in Goa.

Travel background

While I’ve traveled extensively through Africa, from Namibia to the Democratic Republic of Congo, my journeys across the world have opened my eyes to diverse cultures. From tapas tastings in Spain to island-hopping in Bali, adventures in French Guana and Trinidad and Tobago, I’ve embraced every new experience. Whether it’s Mauritius or Brazil, Turkey or Switzerland, my passport book is stamped with over 20 countries and counting.

Best travel experiences

An experience that I will never forget is seeing baby turtles hatch on the deserted beaches of St Helena Island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. It was completely unexpected and a true marvel of nature. After a sunset picnic, we noticed a few tiny turtles crawling across the sand toward the ocean and before we knew it there were hundreds of them!
