Behind TourScanner is a diverse team of travelers hailing from every continent (except Antarctica).
From just three founders, TourScanner has grown into a company of over 30 members, including tech developers, content writers, editors, digital marketers and managers, with CEO Simone Semprini at the helm.
Representing over 10 nationalities, our team spans the globe, from the United States to Italy and France to Argentina. We are fully remote workers, drawing from our collective travel experiences and digital competencies in the realm of tourism.

As an experienced and passionate traveler, Simone Semprini was accustomed to using metasearch engines for booking flights and accommodation. But when it came to finding tours or activities, it was an arduous process sifting through multiple websites.
Recognizing a gap in the market for a search engine specifically for tours and travel activities, he embarked on a journey to meet the needs of fellow globetrotters.
So in 2018, he joined forces with Guillaume Picard and Emily Dimucci, who combined their expertise in tourism and technology to create TourScanner.
Setting up roots in Lisbon, Portugal and with headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, TourScanner quickly emerged as the leading metasearch engine for tours, creating a seamless platform for people to choose their next experience.
