Bio

Endlessly inspired by Lonely Planet guides as a teen, I've spent the last decade roaming Southeast Asia, Central America, and Europe, sometimes solo and sometimes with a toddler in tow. From the skyscrapers of Kuala Lumpur to the jungle huts of Nicaragua, I've experienced it all. Now based in the UK, I work as a freelance writer and find myself constantly drawn to the allure of an off-beat national park or the vibrant buzz of a rainforest. Whether it's jotting down notes on my next bucket list destination or getting lost in a Tourscanner article, writing has always been a part of my journey.

Travel background

I've had the incredible privilege of visiting a diverse array of countries across the globe, such as the UK, France, Italy, Croatia, Spain, Belgium, Thailand, Indonesia, Turkey, Malaysia, and Costa Rica. I have recently embarked on a journey to discover South East Asia as well!

Best travel experiences

In my life, I have experienced no greater peace than while watching the sun rise over the rolling hills of Sumatra from the summit of Mount Sibayak, as steam erupted from the active Mount Sinabung in the distance. From stumbling up the volcanos winding slopes in the dark to discovering geologic phenomenes in its caldera, this experience is etched in my memory.
