I was born in Porto and raised in Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal, but now I call Gaia my home. Armed with a background in communications and digital marketing, I lend my talents to Tourscanner's blog team! My social nature thrives on exploration, yet I equally cherish moments of solitude. My travel escapades paint a diverse picture of exploration. From the inaugural trip to Gran Canaria with friends to navigating the Netherlands' vibrant cities, I've embraced the world with curiosity. An English course in Malta added an international flair to my summer, staying with an amazing host family and fostering friendships across the globe. My backpack then touched every corner of Portugal, camping under the stars and uncovering my homeland's tales. The adventure continued with an interrail through Berlin, Prague, Budapest, Zagreb, Split, and Hvar. Interspersed with spontaneous road trips, my journeys are a testament to my insatiable wanderlust.

My cherished travel memories coalesce around a summer in Malta, a standout among my adventures. Embracing independence, I ventured solo, immersing myself in the warm embrace of a wonderful host family and their three dogs. Amidst the enchanting beaches and perfect weather, I not only expanded my global network, forging friendships that endure, but also discovered newfound independence. This journey nudged me out of my comfort zone, creating a tapestry of hilarious memories that resonate deeply.
