Where is the museum located?

The Dubai Museum is located at the Al Fahidi Fort, opposite the Grand Mosque and close to Port Rashid. It is easy to reach by train with the Dubai Metro Green line stopping at the Al Fahidi Station. You can also get there by bus with the Water Bus Station being a short walk away.

Parking is limited for vehicles and so using public transport or joining an organised tour are the best options.

When is the best time for a visit to the Dubai Museum?

Although the museum is housed in Dubai’s oldest building, it is air-conditioned, making it great for tours throughout the year. The museum is open from 08:30 AM to 8:30 PM from Saturday to Thursday and from 2:30 PM to 8:30 PM on Fridays.

During Ramadan, the museum is not open of Fridays.
